Description

The Garage API provides controlled capabilities to support device lifecycle management within the system. It enables the registration and traceability of head unit (TCU) replacements, ensuring consistent handling of device swaps between damaged or decommissioned units and OEM spare parts, while supporting operational continuity and accurate device association.

Use Cases

The Garage API may be used by client applications wishing to:

Register the replacement of an old or damaged head unit (TCU) with a new TCU for an existing IITC End User account, supporting OEM spare‑parts scenarios and returning an order identifier for tracking the swap request.

Execute the device swap process, including: - The unpairing of the old IMSI. - The pairing of the new IMSI.
